Welcome to my blog :)

Ever since I was a little kid I loved old rock n' roll music. I don't know why because my parents didn't listend to it alot and my brothers both listen to music from now, but I was always really in love with the idea of rock stars. I think there is something really cool about them and I really love 70's rock groups. My favorite bands change alot but right now I love Alice Cooper and KISS. Does anybody else like old rock music? Probably not very many other people do but I don't really mind. I don't really like rap music at all. Each to their own.
That's the cool thing about our generation, you can like whatever you want. Out of me and four of my best friends we have one person who listens to rock n' roll, one person who listens to country, one person who listens to pop, one person who listens to techno, and one person who listens to metal.
People can listen to whatever they want so easily now.  Even if the music you like isn't on the radio you can access it so easily on the internet. You can be a fan of anything you want. You can like any type of music or any band that you want to like. They could be from the 70's or the 30's or from other countries and you can still find their music and be fans.
Do you like any different or unusual types of music?

  1. I personally do not have a favourtie type of music. I like music from all sorts of artists and all different genres. But if I had to chose I probably like Hedley. I wouldn't really consider them to be a different or unusual band though. I have never really listened to KISS so I can't really say if I like them or not but I think I will go and listen to some of their songs to see what I think.

  2. Awesome! I love to listen to music but time is an issue for me. If I had to sit down and listen to something, I could pretty much fall in love with any type of music in any type of genre. I don't know, but I'm usually weird when it comes to what kind of music I like. For me, it's not so much the type or anything, it's so much the emotions that the artists pour into the song they choose to sing. I love to applaud the ones that actually have passion for what they are saying and usually most songs give us a theme and really illustrate what happened in the artist's life! Wrapping it up, the one that can really touch me in that aspect, would be the song that's on my Ipod!
